As Marianne in the hit BBC drama Normal People, she wore dungarees and cosy knits typical of an awkward school outcast.
But Daisy Edgar-Jones revealed an altogether racier look as she strode out in a slinky £995 black dress and a daring pair of thigh-high boots.
The 22-year-old was spotted modelling the £1,295 boots during a photoshoot for Jimmy Choo’s new range in London on Wednesday.

While she appeared effortlessly stylish in our pictures, in reality the actress toiled for more than four hours to get the perfect shots, dodging rain showers and enduring numerous wardrobe changes outside the trendy Chiltern Firehouse restaurant and hotel in Central London.
Traffic was frequently brought to a standstill as an army of photographers, stylists, hairdressers and make-up artists worked with Ms Edgar-Jones while she posed in outfits including a Jimmy Choo pearl bag that sells for £1,295.
Later, the actress, whose explicit sex scenes opposite Paul Mescal made Normal People a lockdown TV sensation, switched to a more casual look in a pair of jeans that Marianne might choose.

It is unlikely, however, that her schoolgirl character would have been able to afford the accompanying Jimmy Choo Bon Bon bag – it sells for £2,095.
A bystander told The Mail on Sunday: ‘The weather was grey and miserable – not ideal for filming a fashion shoot – but Daisy looked stunning and made you forget all about the rain.
‘She has that star quality that makes you stop and stare.’

Daisy recently spoke about her racy drama Normal People, saying how at ease she was made to feel while filming sex scenes with co-star Paul as they made sure to ask each other about what they were doing and worked with intimacy expert Ita O’Brien.
‘It was an amazing process. I can’t believe that it’s not been the norm for a very long time because it feels like I don’t know how else you would go about doing those scenes.
‘They are integral to telling the story of a relationship between two people as they grow up. The physical side of things is an incredibly important part of that.’
She explained: ‘We would discuss what each other was comfortable with day to day so you never felt like you were going to overstep anybody’s boundaries.
‘Weirdly, we were kind of more free, because of the structure that was put in place.
‘When we were filming . . . we knew what each other was comfortable with, so there was never any worry of, ‘Am I able to do this because I don’t want to make that person feel uncomfortable if they’re not OK with it?’.’
Last week, Ms Edgar-Jones, who is dating Game Of Thrones actor Tom Varey, admitted she was keen to reunite with her Normal People co-star.
‘I’ve seen so much of Paul Mescal, but it’s been via Zoom, and we’re desperate to celebrate together after going through the whole filming process as a team,’ she said.
