A pod of dolphins put on an incredible acrobatic display for tourists on the Northumberland coast.
The group were left stunned when the playful dolphins leapt effortlessly through the air just feet away from their boat in Berwick.
Photographer Sheila Ivison, who snapped the action, said she could not believe her luck.

She managed to capture several magnificent shots of the pod in all their glory propelling themselves high above the water.
At least three dolphins can be seen seemingly playing together in the northeast coast.
The retired 64-year-old from Workington, Cumbria said: ‘The dolphins really showed off for us.

‘They were breaching and playing around. I loved the fact they were just feet from the front of the boat.’
Sightings of marine wildlife such as dolphins, whales and porpoises is not uncommon on the UK coast.
There are at least seven different species of dolphins which have been seen on the British coast, with the easiest to spot being bottlenose and common dolphins.
