Lori Loughlin is leaning on faith as she serves the final days of her two-month prison sentence for her highly-publicized role in the college admissions scandal.
After spending Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas and behind bars, the 56-year-old actress has reportedly turned to God for guidance as she ‘prays day and night’ at the Federal Correctional Institution in Dublin, California.
In addition to spending her ‘free time reading books,’ a source told Us Weekly that Loughlin’s ‘faith has gotten her through’ a turbulent year and time away from family.

‘She can’t wait to be home with her girls,’ the insider also told the outlet, referring to her and husband Mossimo Giannulli’s children, 21-year-old Olivia Jade and Bella, 22.
Giannulli, who begun his five-month prison sentence late last month, is expected to be released in April 2021, whereas she is set to return home on Monday.
Loughlin has been ‘keeping her head down and doing everything to avoid trouble,’ according to TMZ.
During her sentence, she is said to not really be keen on engaging with other prisoners, but she isn’t exactly being unfriendly either.

Loughlin has not been allowed to have visitors at FCI Dublin in California because of COVID, but Loughlin is allowed to email her daughters and other family members. She is not, however, allowed to contact her husband.
Her imminent release comes amid news that ‘a total of 185 of nearly 900 inmates and three staff members have been infected’ with COVID-19 at her low security facility, according to ABC7.
‘She’s holding it together,’ a source said regarding her state of mind.
Mossimo has been in quarantine since he entered prison on November 19, as per protocol. All inmates are to be quarantined for 14 days.

One of the people in Mossimo’s pod did test positive for coronavirus, so his quarantine has been extended.
Mossimo has had no contact with his family since he went behind bars to serve his five-month sentence.
Last month, the Full House actress and her husband paid off their fines from behind bars, as part of the plea deal in the college bribery scandal.

Loughlin paid off $150,000 and Giannuli, 57, paid $250,000.
The couple was among the most high-profile parents charged in the scheme, which involved hefty bribes to get undeserving teens into schools with rigged test scores or bogus athletic credentials, authorities say.
Giannulli and Loughlin admitted in May to paying half a million dollars to get their two daughters into the University of Southern California as recruits on the crew team – even though neither girl was a rower.
