President Donald Trump raged about renovations first lady Melania Trump made to the couple’s living quarters at Mar-a-Lago and went so far to have the white marble and dark wooden decor she selected hauled away.

CNN reported on the tiff Tuesday, quoting sources who called Trump ‘moody,’ with another saying that ‘the vibe is off,’ at the Palm Beach, Florida resort this holiday season.

The first lady has been preparing for the couple to retire at Mar-a-Lago after they leave White House life behind in January.

Trump, for his part, hasn’t conceded the election to President-elect Joe Biden and has continued to encourage his supporters to spread his false claims of widespread voter fraud.

There was some speculation that Trump might not even leave the White House for Christmas, as he stayed in Washington for Thanksgiving instead of making the trek to his private Florida club, where he usually spends the fall holiday.

But on the Wednesday before Christmas, the Trumps indeed made the Florida trip.

CNN reported that upon entering Mar-a-Lago on December 23, the president’s mood darkened.

Reporter Kate Bennett wrote that the changes the first lady and her decorator Tham Kannalikham made to the Trumps’ 3,000 square foot living space ‘didn’t appeal to Trump’s aesthetics.’

‘He was not happy with it,’ a source said.

The source reported hearing several loud, one-sided conversations with club management.

Trump also didn’t like some of the other renovations made to the historic property, which he operates as a private, social club, CNN said.

The vibe at Mar-a-Lago is also slightly different because of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, with some club members choosing to stay away.

Trump has famously taunted the mask-wearing Biden and threw large, crowded mostly mask-less rallies in the lead-up to the November vote.

At a recent Turning Point USA event held at the club, throngs of young people crowded into the ballroom, refusing to abide by social distancing protocols.

CNN reported that the annual New Year’s Eve party at Mar-a-Lago is still on.

‘It’s just too big a risk, not worth it,’ one club member told the network.
