A source told The Sun: ‘Robbie’s been fairly sick.
‘He’s confined to the villa where he is staying with his family. It’s not exactly the worst place in the world to be quarantined, although he cannot go to the beach. He will have to remain in quarantine for up to 14 days.’
Robbie was pictured taking precautions as he headed out in St. Barts last month, with the singer wearing a face mask for a boat trip. However it seems it was not enough to protect him from Covid.
Robbie’s representatives declined to comment when contacted by MailOnline.

Robbie also appeared on British TV show Jonathan Ross and Ayda was seen on Loose Women as she called in via video by her Christmas tree.
The mother-of-four has also shared several snaps from their festive celebrations to Instagram, including one post showing doting dad Robbie singing on their daughter Teddy’s new microphone.
On December 20, London and surrounding areas were plunged into Tier 4, which saw travel abroad for leisure ‘not permitted’, with exceptions only allowed for reasons such as work, education and childcare.
‘I’m a bit neurotic’: Back in September, Robbie revealed he was living in Switzerland amid the coronavirus pandemic (pictured in the country with wife Ayda)
Back in September, Robbie revealed he was living in Switzerland amid the coronavirus pandemic.
During an interview with Steve Wright on BBC Radio 2, the musician insisted he’s opted to temporarily reside ‘up a mountain’ in a bid to avoid contracting COVID-19 as he’s ‘a bit neurotic’.
When asked he’s living in his Los Angeles or Malibu home, the media personality said: ‘No I’m not. I’m somewhere in Switzerland up a mountain.
‘Well, I’m a bit neurotic and I thought where can I place myself where it won’t get me? And I thought, well I’ll just live up the Mont Blanc for 6 months… it’s really warm actually, it’s really lovely.’
On how the global outbreak has affected his lifestyle, the former Take That star admitted while he loves spending time with his children, he’s eager to get back to ‘doing what I love’.
The belter said: ‘The performing arts is suffering greatly because of it and, on a personal note from me, I’m so grateful to do what I do for a living and can’t wait to get back to work and start performing again.
‘I’m loving my time with my family, I’m loving my time with my wife, I’ve got 4 kids – it’s joyous – but I’m chomping at the bit now to leave the house and do what I do for a living and what I love.’
