Kanye West and Kim Kardashian‘s divorce documents reveal that they do not appear to have officially separated yet as the date remains ‘TBD’ – to be decided.
The divorce documents, which were filed on behalf of Kim on February 22, cited ‘irreconcilable differences’ as the reason for the celebrity couple’s split.
Their date of separation, however, remains TBD in the eyes of the court. The separation date can become a point of contention when dividing up assets, but Kim and Kanye have a prenuptial agreement in place that should govern the issue.

The divorce petition, according to Entertainment Tonight, reveals Kim is seeking joint and legal custody of the couple’s four children.
She is also requesting spousal support be terminated as an option for either party in the divorce.
‘The split is amicable and there is no drama,’ an insider shared with DailyMail.com after the divorce was made public.
Money isn’t an issue, as Kim is worth almost $800 million thanks to her different makeup and beauty products, while Kanye is worth around $1.3 billion.
Tension between Kanye and Kim began to build in July when Kanye decided to run for president.

During that campaign, an increasingly erratic Kanye called Kris Jenner ‘Kris Jong Un’ and involved a rant about wanting his wife to have an abortion earlier in their marriage.
Kanye and Kim began dating in 2012 and were engaged in 2013 before marrying in a lavish ceremony in May 2014.
The divorce is the first for West and third for Kim, who was previously married to Damon Thomas from 2000 to 2004 and Kris Humphries from 2011 to 2013.
In recent months, the children have mostly been seen with Kim in Hidden Hills, California, where the family has a $60 million mansion.
Meanwhile, there is a ranch in Cody, Wyoming where Kanye has been staying as the former couple works on dividing property.
Kim reportedly stopped wearing her wedding band in November. She and Kanye went to marriage counseling to try to work things out, but it was ultimately not enough to prevent a divorce.
The two have had little contact since October when they argued during her 40th birthday party held at The Brando resort in Polynesia.

On Tuesday, Kim hit the town as a single woman for the first time, going to Beverly Hills hot spot Matsuhisa with sister Kourtney and some friends.
Kim is being represented by celebrity divorce attorney Laura Wasser in the court proceedings.
The Sunday Mirror has reported that the final season of Keeping Up with the Kardashians will likely document the divorce.
It could also be part of a new Hulu series in the works with the Kardashian family.
