Royal romance: Harry and Meghan

Britain’s Prince Harry and his wife Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, are among the most famous couples in the world.

Harry, the second son of Prince Charles and the late Princess Diana, was introduced to Meghan, an American actress, by mutual friends in July of 2016. They were married in 2018 in a ceremony watched by millions of people around the world.

The two had their first child, Archie, in May 2019.

In January of 2020, the couple announced that they would be stepping back from their roles as senior members of the British royal family, with a plan to work toward becoming “financially independent.”

They have since agreed with Queen Elizabeth II that they will not be returning as working members of the British royal family. They have also announced they are expecting another child.
