Former East 17 star Brian Harvey live streamed the moment this morning he was arrested on suspicion of sending ‘malicious communication’.
The 90s boyband heartthrob, 46, posted the footage on YouTube when six police officers arrived at his East London home earlier this morning.
The officers told him that they were arresting him on suspicion of sending malicious communication.
Harvey, who starred in I’m a Celebrity in 2004, was taken to Leyton Police Station for questioning.
His arrest comes after Harvey’s ex-girlfriend former EastEnders actress Danniella Westbrook said she had taken out a restraining order against one of her exes.
She claimed the unnamed former lover had been harassing her on social media and was ‘trying to bring her down’.
It is the latest drama to sit the controversial singer since he was sacked from East 17 in 1997 after admitting in a live radio interview to once taking 12 ecstasy tablets.
He sparked outrage by saying the drug could ‘make you a better person’.
Then in 2005 he was left with severe injuries following a ‘freak’ accident in which he ran over himself.

Brian (pictured far left) starred in East 17 alongside bandmates Terry Coldwell, Tony Mortimer and John Hendy Various and rose to fame with songs such as Christmas hit Stay Another Day
In today’s footage Harvey bizarrely asks the officers: ‘Are you lot going to kill me?’ as they arrive at his front door.
Officers told the 90’s star he was being arrested on suspicion of malicious communication and he was being taken to Leyton Police Station for questioning.
The star, who rose to fame with songs such as House of Love, Hold My Body Tight and Stay Another Day, repeatedly asks: ‘Why are you doing this to me?’
A police officer asked Brian, ‘Come and have a chat?’
Speaking behind a metal gate, Brain said: ‘I’m having a chat but please don’t –
‘Why do you want to break into my house? I’m being arrested but why’ve you got to come in my house?
‘Listen, get away, get away I will come with you; you have my word but please move back from my house.
Eventually, after police said Brian’s behaviour made them fear for his safety, he agreed to go with them.

Fallout: Earlier this month, Brian filmed another video, explaining police had carried out a ‘welfare check’ at his home amid an ongoing feud between him and ex Danniella Westbrook
Officers visited Harvey after his ex Westbrook, 47, accused him of being a ‘paranoid coke freak’ in a video posted online.
The former couple, who dated from 1991-1995, have been engaged in a war of words online with both stars firing accusations via YouTube.
Danniella recently said: ‘You’re not special and you’re not different love.
‘MI5 are not on your case, I don’t know how you think that, you’re like a paranoid coke freak, which I used to be where you think everyone at your f***ing door is MI5 and they’re going to come through your door for something.
‘They ain’t Brian, no one is listening that’s why you’ve got like 30 people listening to your rant, slandering my name when I’m coming on here talking about getting well, 12 step programs, it’s people like you that put me back into relapses but you’re not going to do that.
‘He thinks I’ve got convictions, he’s on there saying I bought MI5 to his house and stuff like that, what am I? Miss Moneypenny?
‘Mate you need to get the hell out of your front door, you’re fully live having a break down on YouTube, crying, sobbing, talking about me, slandering me, saying I’m involved with paedophiles and paedophile rings, I was abused all my life in this industry as a child, you wasn’t Brian.’
‘Reoccurring nightmares’: The ex-couple, who dated from 1991-1995, have been engaged in a war of words online the last month with both stars firing accusations via YouTube
Former EastEnders actress Danniella revealed last week she had asked police for a restraining order against one of her exes.
Speaking on YouTube, she said: ‘I’m going through it now on social media with an ex of mine who is trying to bring me down.
‘I went to the police yesterday to make a statement and get a restraining order because he’s bringing up stuff from my past which is very damaging.
‘Every time that happens I get reoccurring nightmares and then I get abuse on social media.’
Brian was sacked from East 17 in 1997 after claiming ecstasy could ‘make you a better person’ during a live radio interview.
He confessed on air to taking 12 ecstasy tablets before driving home ‘no problem,’ resulting in his immediate departure from the band.

When he was 31, Brian claimed gorging on jacket potatoes prompted him to open his moving car door to be sick, only to be crushed underneath the vehicle.
A documentary about Brian’s attempts to rekindle his music career and recover from the accident was aired on the BBC in 2005 but his attempts to make a comeback came to nothing.
Brian has also spoken openly about his battle with depression over the years and how he felt unsupported by the music industry when it all went wrong for him.
In early 2015, he told of how his life had hit rock bottom and he contemplated suicide after his ‘depression took over.’
He’s campaigned for the music industry to do more to protect its artists after he was left ‘chewed up and spat out’ following his rise to fame with the band.
