A police investigation has been launched after a woman was filmed hurling racist abuse at passengers on a London Underground train.
In the shocking footage, the woman, who was dressed in a purple and white outfit, is heard calling one commuter a ‘f****** Algerian c***’ before threatening to ‘knock him out’ on a train near West Ham underground station just after 11pm on July 16.
The unidentified woman with a ‘death before dishonour’ tattoo continues to unleash the foul-mouthed racist tirade before confronting the man who is recording the encounter and calling him a ‘n*****’.
British Transport Police have confirmed that they are now investigating the racially aggravated public order offence and enquiries are ongoing.
During the clip, which first emerged on social media, the woman calls a fellow commuter a “f****** Algerian c*** and proceeds to tell him: ‘I’ll spit in your face!’

Her friend appears to giggle at her racist rant before the woman squares up to the passenger and shouts: ‘Listen! Don’t ever raise your f***ing hands! You understand? If you see me, I’ll cut your head off!’
Just moments later, the woman confronts the cameraman and tells him ‘carry on recording me because I don’t care’.
The woman shouts: ‘Carry on recording me because I don’t care. I’ don’t give a f***. You’re some civilian motherf***** from Essex’
The cameraman then tells her: ‘At the end of the day it’s a public train. I don’t know why you’re getting lairy. It’s a public train.’
However the woman continues: ‘You’re an Essex boy! You’re a countryside boy! Do your homework! Even if your b*****s are countryside b*****s.’
The cameraman tells her to stop picking on train commuters and to act with ‘more self-respect’ before the woman responds: ‘Shut the f***k up you little countryside b****! All of you man hop off the train! Listen I’m sober my n*****!
‘Jump off the train and I’ll stab you in the face. Listen you don’t understand, I’ve been cheffed (sic) in the face by n*****s!’

In another clip, other passengers confront the woman and tell her she is being racist but the woman begins to push one commuter and shouts: ‘I’ll stab you!’.
She then screams at the cameraman and hurls more racist abuse at him before saying: ‘A bitch ass n*****. Shut the f***up!’
The British Transport Police said officers are investigating the incident and have asked anyone with information to contact them.
A spokesperson said: ‘British Transport Police received a report of a racially aggravated public order offence on-board a train near West Ham Underground station at 11.31pm on Friday 16 July.
‘Officers are aware of footage on social media of this incident, and enquiries into it remain ongoing.
‘Anyone with information is asked to contact BTP by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference 749 of 16/07/21.’
The Death Before Dishonour tattoo is an American patriotic symbol, usually associated with the military. Those who get this tattoo have usually served their country.
