While Princess Diana‘s niece, Lady Kitty Spencer, is enjoying newly married life with South African fashion tycoon Michael Lewis, 62, her previous boyfriend has struck up a passionate romance with her ‘double’.
I hear that property tycoon Niccolo Barattieri, 50, who went out with Earl Spencer’s daughter, 30, for four years until 2017, is going out with Drew Evenson, 30, who not only bears an uncanny resemblance to Kitty with her model looks and long blonde hair, but is also a key figure in London‘s fashion and philanthropy circles.

Hired by one of Diana’s favourite designers, Amanda Wakeley, to head up her digital team, Drew is the founder of Rites, a clothes hire service that collaborates with charities such as the Lady Garden Foundation, for which ambassadors include Cara Delevingne and Samantha Cameron.
Born in Canada, a loved-up Drew admits: ‘London has my heart right now.’

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were accused of being disrespectful for giving their daughter the Queen’s family pet name, Lilibet.
Now, the monarch’s bridesmaid Lady Pamela Hicks has revealed she was told off for using the moniker.
‘The Queen’s grandmother, Queen Mary, was very frightening,’ explains Lady Pamela, Lord Mountbatten’s daughter.
‘She sent for me at a reception before I became lady-in-waiting, and said: ‘I hear you’re going out as Lilibet’s lady-in-waiting. When you’re in waiting, you’ll remember not to call her Lilibet, just Ma’am.’
‘So I saluted and went back. She was very fierce. Those were the days of fierce old ladies.’
When the National Portrait Gallery finally reopens its doors after a £35.5 million redevelopment, it won’t be just the building near Trafalgar Square that visitors may find unrecognisable.
I hear that its collection is undergoing a ‘woke’ makeover which will see many of its portraits of ‘stale, pale males’ removed from its walls. In their place will be far more paintings and photographs of non-white faces.
‘They are trying to say, ‘We are multi-racial’,’ a source working on the revamp tells me. ‘They are trying to put more diverse people in the collection which were not shown on the walls.’
The gallery has tried in the past to make the subjects of its portraits more racially diverse.
In 2017, it staged the Black Is The New Black exhibition featuring photographs by Simon Frederick of figures including supermodel Naomi Campbell and national treasure Sir Lenny Henry. Last year, the gallery’s patron, the Duchess of Cambridge, launched a photography project, ‘Hold Still’, aimed at capturing life during the pandemic.
A gallery spokesman tells me: ‘We are still in the planning stages of the rehang of the collection and it’s too soon to say which specific portraits will be on display.
‘We have a long-term commitment to increase representation in our collection and programme.’
How Dancing Dan hopes to Hammer school disco trauma
When BBC star Dan Walker performs a cha-cha-cha with Nadiya Bychkova on the Strictly dancefloor tonight, he hopes to make up for lost time.
For Walker, 44, who towers over his fellow contestants at 6ft 6in, says he didn’t dance at his first school disco because he felt too ‘tall and awkward and uncomfortable’.
Walker visited his alma mater, Three Bridges Primary School, in Crawley, West Sussex, this week and told the children: ‘Now is my chance to put it right.’

Amusingly, tonight’s dance will be performed to MC Hammer’s U Can’t Touch This, which was played at his school disco.
The broadcaster says his glamorous Ukrainian-Slovenian dance partner has boosted his confidence.
‘Nadiya said from day one, this is like your superpower, let’s use it, you can fill as much space as you like.’
A new heart-throb for Daniel Day Lewis fans?
With those piercing blue eyes, bushy moustache and velvet hat, Daniel Day-Lewis’s fans could be forgiven for thinking he has made a comeback.
In fact, the picture is not of the triple Oscar winner, 64, who retired from acting in 2017, but of his son, the former Burberry model Gabriel-Kane Day-Lewis, 26, in the new Western, Terror On The Prairie.

Gabriel, whose mother is the French actress Isabelle Adjani, has made only one other film appearance, in the 2002 French-language drama Adolphe.
Clearly, he’s now ready to burst through those saloon doors and take his father’s mantle.
