Adele was typically hilarious when she took part in Vogue‘s ‘ultimate British taste test’, which saw the hit-maker blindfolded while trying to guess the name of twelve different British dishes.

Sitting in a make-shift greasy spoon, a glamorous Adele, 33, quipped: ‘I’m feeling nervous. I’m also feeling like I’m in the next 50 Shades Of Grey movie with this on,’ as she slipped a black blindfold over her head.

The first dish given to the star was a pickled egg, prompting her to exclaim: ‘What the f**k is that?’ before admitting: ‘I don’t love a pickled egg.’

The mother-of-one added: ‘But it’s nowhere near as bad as jellied eel. One of my nans likes eating them without her dentures in.’

Looking sensational in a low-cut black top and wearing a full face of expertly-applied glam, Adele told the camera at the beginning of the clip: ‘Hello British Vogue, I’m Adele, and today I’m going to be taking on the ultimate British Taste Test with this blindfold on.’

She added: ‘[I’ll be] trying to identify some classic British dishes.’

Adele also revealed how she makes the perfect brew, telling viewers: ‘I like to brew the tea bag, add a bit of milk, bit of sugar, stir it, stir it, stir it, ring it out, put it wherever you want.’

After correctly guessing that she had been presented with a plate of fish and chips, Adele joked: ‘I normally have a battered sausage, but I don’t know if I can describe that without sounding a bit rude.’

Then, after tucking into a full English fry up, Adele said: ‘A fry up is the perfect hangover cure, and obviously I’m always hungover.’
