This is the astonishing moment a home removals driver hit two parked cars while trying to pull up outside a house in Glasgow.
CCTV footage shows how the driver of the Mercedes Sprinter box van tried to reverse into a tight spot despite a car blocking his swing on the opposite side of the road.
The driver edges backwards until he strikes a Citroen in a parking bay outside the owner’s house.
The Quick Moves Mercedes Sprinter van was attempting to reverse into a parking space, but was blocked by a white car across from his intended destination
Instead of turning around and reversing in from the other direction, he tried to squeeze between the two cars in Glasgow on January 15
The Citroen’s owner is shown racing from her home to inspect the damage before moving the car further down the street.
Despite the extra space, the removals driver manages to strike a second car, this time with the front of his van as he reverses back into the space.
The van then finally manages to park as the owner of the white car inspects the damage.
Kaitlyn Curly shared the video to TikTok on January 15, writing: ‘Quick Move off the road before you get hit.’

After getting into the space, the removals staff were confronted by the owner of the second damaged car
This is not the first time a truck driver has caused trouble when trying to park.
In March 2018 a Yodel delivery driver was caught on camera scraping their van alongside the side of a customer’s parked car in Lancaster.
After grinding alongside the side of the parked vehicle and knocking their own alloy off, the delivery driver left the scene.
In November 2020, a blundering DPD driver was filmed repeatedly hitting a parked car as they tried to negotiate a tight junction in Retford, Nottinghamshire, before driving away.
