Revellers brought the boom back into Britain’s nightlife yesterday as thousands of young people in cities across the country enjoyed a night out for the three-day Bank Holiday weekend.

Partygoers were keen to make up for lost time, after Covid lockdowns in 2020 and last year cancelled many festivities.

Young people donned fun-filled outfits including cowboy hats, angel wings, Minnie Mouse costumes and mermaid skirts to celebrate.

High fashion was also on display, as partygoers showed off their style wearing polka dot blouses, tennis dresses and bold 1970s patterned jumpsuits.
