Jewish man is abused TWICE in the space of an hour on public transport in London by thugs singing anti-Semitic songs and threatening to ‘slit his throat for Palestine’

A Jewish man was abused twice in the space of an hour on London‘s public transport last night.
A man who wished to remain anonymous took to social media to say that his brother who he said is ‘visibly’ Jewish, was first ‘attacked’ while on the number 113 bus – which was headed to Oxford Circus – at around 11.30pm.
In an audio recording made by the man’s brother, the thug was heard threatening to ‘shank’ him and ‘slit his throat for Palestine‘.
He also called the Jewish man a ‘f***ing scumbag’ and warned that he would ‘f***ing beat the s*** out of you’.
Footage also showed the abuser angrily telling the bus driver that the man’s brother was ‘f***ing Jewish’.
He then stepped off the bus and banged his hands on the doors whilst shouting ‘suck your mum’ and ‘free Palestine’.
An hour later, the man’s brother was travelling down an escalator at Oxford Circus when he filmed a man shouting anti-Semitic abuse.
The video comes after recent figures showed a ‘horrific surge’ in ant-Semitic attacks, linked to the recent violence between Israel and Palestinian militants in the Gaza strip.

In the tube video, a man who appeared to be part of a group of England football fans was heard shouting ‘f***ing hate the Jews’ while he made a banging sound with his hand.
When a member of the group told him to ‘shut the f*** up’, he added that ‘we’ve got a Jew behind us’, before another retorted, ‘we’ve got about nine Jews behind us’.
The abused man’s brother had said in his tweet: ‘My brother [who is visibly Jewish] was attacked on the 113 bus, heading in direction of Oxford Circus, London at 11:33PM and threatened to “slit his throat for Palestine”. Will anything be done about this rampant #Antisemitism.

In a thread beneath the second video, he posted evidence of the earlier incident and said: ‘An hour prior, he had another antisemitic encounter on the @TfL tube.’
He said it was ‘depressing’ that a ‘visibly’ Jewish person cannot use public transport without hearing ‘I f***ing hate the Jews’.
The Metropolitan Police’s Chief Superintendent Rory Smith said in response to the man’s Twitter thread: ‘This is awful and I’m sorry he had to experience this. I’ve tagged @MetCC and if you could DM them so that this can be fully investigated please?’

One of the fans had an England flag tied around his shoulders. The men’s national side had earlier beaten Ukraine 4-0

In a thread beneath the second video, he posted evidence of the earlier incident and said: ‘An hour prior, he had another antisemitic encounter on the @TfL tube.’ The man told MailOnline that the incident on the bus in fact happened first, at 11.30pm, with the abuse on the tube occurring at 12.30am
‘This sort of behaviour absolutely will not be tolerated.’
Transport for London also responded on Twitter.
They said: ‘Good morning. I am really sorry to hear that this has happened on a London Bus.
‘So that this can be looked into, please ask your brother to contact the Metropolitan police service as soon as possible.’
Both services have also been approached for comment by MailOnline. The British Transport Police have also been contacted.
Figures released at the start of last month by the Community Security Trust (CST) recorded 351 anti-Semitic incidents between May 8 and 31, already surpassing the highest total for any single month since records began.
The CST said the rise was fuelled by anti-Semitic reactions to the conflict in the Middle East and called it ‘utterly predictable and completely disgraceful’.
There are concerns the situation will only worsen as violence in the Middle East continues.
The Campaign Against Antisemitism cited physical beatings and vandalism, chants and placards at rallies, social media abuse and threats to Jewish children at schools and universities as examples of the hostility faced by the community.
‘None of these should be features of life in Britain in 2021, but they are for Jewish people,’ a spokesperson said.

‘Ultimately, the blame lies with the racist perpetrators of these cowardly incidents.’
They added: ‘It is vital that the police investigate incidents as they arise and bring offenders to justice.
‘In a year defined by solidarity against racism worldwide, it is extraordinary how little support there is out there for Britain’s Jews. Racism against Jews just doesn’t seem to count.’
In one incident, a man stopped Jewish secondary school students and threatened to punch them if they did not say they supported Palestine.
He then said: ‘Tell your f****** mum and dad they are murderers and killing babies.’
In another case, a rabbi was attacked near his synagogue in north London.
Two men have since appeared in court accused of assaulting Rabbi Rafi Goodwin who was allegedly struck over the head with a concrete brick.
Colchester Magistrates’ Court heard from prosecutors that Abderrahman Brahimi, 25, and Souraka Djabouri, 18, allegedly forced him out of his car before beating him in the street, after reportedly saying ‘he’s a Jew’.
On the same day, four men were arrested and bailed after passengers in a convoy of cars with Palestinian flags used offensive language and made threats against Jewish people in the St John’s Wood area of London.
It prompted Prime Minister Boris Johnson to publicly denounce anti-Semitism.
He on Twitter: ‘There is no place for anti-Semitism in our society.
‘Ahead of Shavuot, I stand with Britain’s Jews who should not have to endure the type of shameful racism we have seen today’

Education Secretary Gavin Williamson also wrote to all headteachers of state secondary schools urging schools to clamp down on rising anti-Semitism.
Describing anti-Semitism as ‘abhorrent’, he condemned a ‘concerning increase in anti-Semitic incidents in some schools’ in this country amid the Israel-Gaza violence.
The previous highest number of anti-Semitic incidents was recorded in July 2014, with 317, also coinciding with an escalation of violence in the Middle East.
