‘I’ve been doing it every day for 35 years, I’ve missed five days in that time. I can be ill, drunk, I’ll still do it.

‘It’s got to be sleep, then food, exercise, skincare, stress levels.
‘Then at the very top of the pyramid, it is possibly things like injectables.
‘Because I’ve had a little bit of Botox, people always go “oh well that’s cheating and that’s why you look young” and I’m like, “well it helps”.
‘But not everyone that has Botox looks 25.
‘So the very last thing I have done is that if all else fails, then maybe some subtle Botox. I’m not into surgery.’
Tristan credits his junk-free diet and daily exercise for his fresh-faced looks. Pictured now

Tristan said: ‘I have facials and I have a really good skincare routine, but my skincare routine is based on my nutrition, as much as it is lotions and potions.
‘Because you can be putting a £300 pot of moisturiser on your face but if you’re eating a lot of sugar, drinking a lot of alcohol and smoking it’s a waste of time really.’
Despite his incredibly toned appearance and saucy Instagram shots, the youthful man says that maintaining muscle mass and staying nimble to combat ageing are his main fitness goals, rather than looking good.

While most people are trying to turn back the hands of time, Tristan says his youthful looks are a ‘mixed blessing’, as many believe that he is scamming them when he tells them his age.
He said: ‘There are so many cons to looking young, people think it’s all good.
‘Let’s say I go on dates and people think I’m lying.
‘Older people don’t know what to do with me, they think I look too young.

‘People don’t believe me, they think I’m a scam.
‘I’ve been in meetings and people have been like ‘who is this kid’.
‘I’ve been to the doctor’s surgery to pick up my prescription and they’re like “is this for your dad”.
‘If I don’t have ID to buy alcohol, when I used to buy alcohol, they wouldn’t give it to me.
‘People don’t take me seriously because they think you’re lying or you’re a fake. So it’s not all good.
‘It’s a mixed blessing.’
Tristan believes that his youthful mindset radiates through, helping to give people the impression that he is younger than he is

‘I’m very playful, open-minded, spontaneous and I think people often meet me and say you actually feel young.
‘It’s about youthful energy, which is playful, curious but on a practical level it has to be healthy first, and that is what we eat, how we move and how we manage stress, because stress is incredibly ageing, not just for your skin but inside as well.’
