The Academy Awards red carpet kicked off early on Sunday afternoon at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood.
And the stars arrived in their most glamorous looks as they descended upon the red carpet for Hollywood’s biggest night.
Lily James and Jessica Chastain opted for spring ready pastel looks while Vanessa Hudgens went for an all-black Michael Kors dress.
The Oscars were originally supposed to take place in February 2022, but was pushed back a month to March 27 due to the Super Bowl and the 2022 Winter Olympics.
It looked as if the stars were making up for lost time by dressing in their very most glamorous styles as last year the ceremony was severely pared down due to the COVID-19 pandemic; last year’s show also took place at Union Station in downtown Los Angeles due to social distancing guidelines.
Lily wowed in the pale pink number, which highlighted her slim frame and her toned legs.
The British actress chose a low-cut floral number in the pastel hue, adding matching platform heels and a statement diamond necklace.
Vanessa sparkled in her lowcut black gown, which featured cut-out details along her torso.
The Grease: Live star had her hair in an updo with a dramatic diamond and emerald necklace covering her décolletage; The High School Musical vet added very high metallic heels.
Laverne Cox, Maddie Ziegler and Sofia Carson all opted with black gowns for the splashiest night of the year.
