Heart-stopping moment lorry smashes into car after driver ‘choked passed out at the wheel’

A lorry veered onto the wrong side of the road and ploughed into a car when the driver allegedly passed out after choking on food. 

The HGV almost crashed into a petrol station in Duxford, Cambridgeshire, on Friday. 

Dash-cam footage shows the vehicle colliding with one car before skidding directly towards the person filming the incident – missing by inches.  

As the video begins, the dashcam car is seen approaching a BP garage with the lorry in the distance.

The huge lorry almost crashed into a petrol station in Duxford, Cambridgeshire, on Friday

The truck then starts veering over the central line of the road into the path of the vehicle ahead.

The car attempts to move, but the lorry smashes into its side, sending the vehicle spinning off towards the petrol station.

Debris shoots through the air and a horn can be heard sounding loudly.

However, the truck keeps moving and heads directly towards the dashcam car.

It hurtles towards the car and the driver exclaims: ‘S***’, however it just misses the front of the vehicle and rolls straight past.

As it does so it reveals a trail of destruction left behind and the driver shouts: ‘F*** me’ .

The shaken motorist then pulls into the petrol station while baffled onlookers go to help the crash victims.
