Joe, who has been praised for keeping children active while schools were closed during the pandemic, told fans: ‘For me personally, I’m so emotional. I’m thinking about all the people out there that are struggling and that have got families and kids, living in tiny little flats, who can’t afford healthy food and heating.
‘I was one of those kids, I was living in a council flat 30 years ago when I was a kid. I was one of [those] people and I can’t help but feel for these families and businesses that are struggling.’
Reminding fans that exercise is an easy way to lift their mood, he added: ‘I suppose I want people to know we’re all going through this, we all feel emotional we all feel sensitive, angry and frustrated and really confused about the whole thing and I just want people to know you need to exercise…

‘You need to look after your mental health, you might just be in a low headspace and have issues with your mental health and you don’t want to exercise, it might be the last thing you want to do but it will get you through the day.
‘I can’t stress how important it is this year to be exercising and moving your body and going out, just do something.’
Joe then confirmed he’d be bringing back his PE series starting on Monday January 11, streaming three times a week so children could keep moving while schools were closed.

Fighting back tears, Joe added: ‘I just want someone to talk to to be honest I just want to talk to you to see how you’re all feeling, I know there’s a vaccine but it just feels so far away still…
‘I was sitting here with Indie on my lap and I said we’re in this lovely house and I can look after you and keep you warm and there are so many parents that can’t do that right now that breaks my heart.
‘I think about other people that are struggling and it must be so much harder, losing jobs and you can’t go to work and you can’t pay the bills.
‘It’s hit me tonight how long this has gone on, you can be the most positive upbeat person and it’ll catch you, it’ll hit you like that.
‘Tonight it’s really kind of… it’s just affecting so many people in so many different ways. I’m constantly doing things I’m constantly keeping myself busy, I don’t really like the process of what I’m doing, the whole world is going through this and I don’t know what to say, it’s OK to not be this strong person all the time.’
