A source told the publication: ‘Katie’s really excited for people to see a different side to her – she’s actually a really good cook, and wants to show off her kitchen skills.

‘She won’t crumble under the pressure of cooking for Gregg Wallace and John Torode, because she has to cook for five fussy kids every night!’

Katie’s representative declined to comment further when contacted by MailOnline.

The news comes after her BBC documentary Katie Price: Harvey & Me, following her journey to chose a college for her disabled son Harvey, 18, aired last month.

Katie has previously appeared on other reality shows including I’m A Celebrity and Celebrity Big Brother.

She has also starred in reality series Katie and Peter: The Next Chapter during her marriage to musician Peter Andre, and more recently My Crazy Life on Quest Red.

The reported signing comes as Katie and her boyfriend Carl Woods were questioned by police on Monday, after travelling from Essex to Shropshire for a secret stay in a luxury log cabin for Valentine’s Day.

Sources told The Sun that she was visited on Monday by Essex Police at her home but they reportedly found no lockdown breaches, after she was first visited at the log cabin by local police over the weekend.

Essex Police confirmed: ‘We were contacted on Sunday 14 February with reports of an alleged breach of coronavirus regulations.’

The mother of five had tried to fool fans into thinking Carl, 32, had built the cabin in their own garden and stuffed it with pink balloons, roses and cake.

But the pair had actually travelled nearly 200 miles to stay at the woodland resort.

When questioned by police, the pair explained they were there for a photoshoot. As this counts as work, they did not break lockdown travel rules.

The couple was pictured leaving the cabin at Henlle Hall in Oswestry on Monday after arriving on Saturday.

The couple had attempted to cover up the trip by faking their weekend plans, as Katie claimed on Sunday that she and Carl were spending the romantic holiday at his home in a ‘love cabin’ he had prepared in his back garden.

Katie, who moved in with her car dealer boyfriend last year, told The Sun at the weekend: ‘I never expected all of this. There’s a cabin in the garden and the decorations are unbelievable.

‘So much thought has gone into it and he didn’t get anything for free – he designed and paid for it all himself.’

A spokesman for Henlle Hall confirmed Miss Price was there for a clothing photoshoot ‘at no charge’, adding: ‘The police arrived at the hall… spoke with both Katie and Carl and left shortly after.’ Katie’s spokesperson declined to comment to Mailonline.

MailOnline also contacted West Midlands Police, and Shropshire DCI Rik Klair said in a statement: ‘We received reports on Sunday 14 February of a possible Covid breach at a location near Oswestry.

‘Officers attended and after speaking to the manager of the premises identified that two individuals were staying at this location. It was found that they were there for legitimate business purposes and weren’t issued with any fines.

‘We are continuing to liaise with the premises to see if any breach of the Covid-19 regulations has taken place on their part.’
