Horrifying moment cyclist is mowed down by a speeding 12-YEAR-OLD who was being taught to drive by his father in Crimea
- Footage shows the unnamed cyclist, 60, being hit by a blue Mitsubishi car
- A 12-year-old boy was behind the wheel being taught to drive but lost control
- The man luckily survived the collision and went home with only minor injuries
This is the moment a speeding 12-year-old driver smashed into a cyclist while the boy was being taught to drive by his father.
The collision was caught CCTV in the resort village of Mykolaivka, Crimea, a Ukrainian territory annexed by Russia.
In the footage, a man calmly rides his bicycle along an empty highway when a blue speeding Mitsubishi Space comes racing into view.
The car then turns sideways as it skids out of control and, raising a cloud of dust, crashing into the man.
The powerful impact sends the 60-year-old cyclist flying into the air before he lands hard on the tarmac along with his wrecked bicycle.
Reports say the Mitsubishi stopped 60 feet further after ramming into a parked Ford.
A boy can be seen watching on in horror as the crash unfolds in front of him.
Nobody was seriously injured or hospitalised following the incident, say local media.

The boy was being taught to drive by his 44-year-old father when he lost control of the car, say police.
However, the legal driving age in both Ukraine and Russia is 18.
The father now faces a fine of 30,000 rubles (£285).
Crimea is a Ukrainian peninsula that was annexed by Russia in 2014.
