IHOP server goes viral after posting TikTok video of her TURNING AWAY Adam Sandler

IHOP – the great equalizer! Moment server turns away Adam Sandler and his daughter from packed NYC restaurant (and then kicks herself later when she realizes!)

Adam Sandler went viral on Wednesday for nothing more than wanting to eat at an IHOP with his daughter.

The actor, 54, and one of his daughters, both with just part of their faces visible due to wearing face masks, went to an IHOP [International House Of Pancakes] to dine but were told they faced a 30-minute wait so decided to leave.

The server, Dayanna Rodas, went viral when she posted a video on TikTok, which included security cam footage of Sandler and his daughter, as she revealed she didn’t recognise the actor, after which she branded herself a clown.

Dayanna was clearly extremely tickled by her A-list gaffe.

The video was posted on her TikTok on Monday, captioned: ‘Pleaseee come back #comedy #fyp #foryou #viral #adamsandler’ set to the song Be A Clown by Osuna.

The video started with shots of Dayanna using a clown make-up filter, before cutting to a security camera shot of Sandler and his daughter interacting with uniform-clad Dayanna briefly before politely leaving.

She wrote on top: ‘Not realizing it’s Adam Sandler and telling him it’s a 30 minute wait and him ofc leaving because he’s not going to wait 30 minutes for IHOP.’

Sandler himself hasn’t commented publicly on the video, though many viewers commended both Rodas for not giving the celebrity special treatment, and Sandler for not expecting special treatment and leaving politely.

‘At least he didn’t use his fame to rush anything,’ one person commented while another added, ‘I used to serve him regularly.’

Another person with experience serving Sandler said, ‘Never served a nicer person,’ while another added, ‘And he didn’t pull the celebrity card either.’
